Grilled Carolina BBQ Chicken Flatbread

Turn out your weeknight with tender grilled chicken and tangy BBQ sauce.

Grilled Carolina BBQ Chicken Flatbread

Slaw:

2 tablespoon yellow mustard

3 tablespoon honey

1 oz Nature’s Intent Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

5 oz cole slaw mix

 

BBQ Sauce:

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

1 tablespoon brown sugar

2 tablespoons Nature’s Intent Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

½ teaspoon chili powder

Salt and pepper

 

Flatbread:

2 – 4 oz pizza dough or flatbread, cooked approx. 12 x 8

4 oz BBQ Sauce – divided

8 oz cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken

4 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

8 roasted tomatoes,

6 pieces bacon, cooked and chopped

2 tablespoons scallions, cut on bias

2 tablespoons cilantro

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. For slaw, combine mustard, honey and apple cider vinegar. Toss over slaw and reserve.
  3. Combine all ingredients for BBQ sauce and reserve.
  4. Divide BBQ sauce and spread on cooked flatbread. Divide chicken, roasted tomatoes and bacon between 2 flatbreads.
  5. Cook for 6-7 minutes until cheese is melted. Garnish with slaw, scallions and cilantro.
